Moon Over Soho by Ben Aaronovitch

I expected to not like this much, as I struggled with the first book. I apparently had forgotten how much I enjoyed the first book, until I didn‘t.
About a third into the book, I liked it. I liked Peter, I liked Nightingale. In my head he looks and sounds like an older Benedict Cumberbatch. I am thinking John Boyega as Peter for my mental casting list.
In the end I wasn‘t head over heels for the story, but it was a pretty enjoyable read and I will continue with the series. I am tempted to get the comic, too. I am looking forward to finding out how Peter‘s magical skills will develop.
