#24in48: The Social Distancing Edition

No plans yet for next weekend? I do now…

Stay home.

Wash your hands.

Read books.

March 21 & 22.

And here is where you sign up:

#24in48: The Social Distancing Edition

I gave the blog my handles for Goodreads, Instagram and here — no promises, how diligent I will be with posting updates. I will try to manage 24 hours, again no promises. Last time I took part in something like this, I think I did 13 hours or so? Not sure, will have to look it up…

Anyway, this is the hashtag for it: #StayHome24in48

My GR is here: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/978552-cathy

And my Insta: https://www.instagram.com/cathepsut/?hl=de
(No idea if that is the correct way of giving Instagram handles)

Oh, yes, since yesterday I am working from home, at least till the end of March. We‘ll see after that.

  1. I’m self-isolating due to a temperature and a cough (and a very gruff voice). I think it’s probably laryngitis rather than covid 19 but in the UK, if you have these symptoms you have to self quarantine. I think I will do this read-a-thon too! I’ve been re-reading “Thrawn” since 7am.

  2. Yay! Just follow the first link, it leads you to the blog where you can sign up. Fingers crossed that your cough and temperature don‘t get too bad, regardless if it is covid19 or influenza or whatever…

My company is more or less working from home from next week, with some exceptions for people that need to come in for one reason or another. But they can only come in at certain days, so not too many people overlap and can cross-contaminate. We are 2500 people, so that would be bad…
