Waiting is over. The calm before the storm has morphed into a hurricane.
This was me during the last third of this volume:
Repeatedly. Holy cow. I expected a pretty horrific battle, but the consequences of this one where more than I had bargained for. Did this many main characters die in the TV series? Wow. And that decapitation was something else… *shudders*
How can they recover from that? Who is even left to regroup? What will they do next? Crazy. Eat your heart out, GRR Martin!

Thanks for posting this. 😁 I was having a break from Walking Dead at the moment. (I got as far as when Rick and company first met the Governor.) Now I’m going to have to get back into reading it again Lol! Luckily my compendium edition goes up to the end of Vol 8!

I use kindle unlimited at the moment, which give me Walking Dead up to volume 10. I might buy the next compendium after that, I‘ll see…
