Monthly wrap-up, May 2024

I have a special 2-month Kindle Unlimited deal until the middle of June. So I made an effort to really get my money‘s worth. The list got ridiculously long this month.

The highlight was the book I picked up last and was the most ambivalent about. Red Rabbit had such a rich cast of characters and story, it was a joy. And the Izuna comics had a good story as well, with excellent artwork…

I‘m a little conflicted about Barsk: The Elephants’ Graveyard. It was different, I liked the setting and the character development. It was a richly imagined world. But it also took me two weeks to finish it.
