Finally, finally reading this. Here we go!
I read Issue #1 some time ago and was fairly ambivalent about it. But since then I have read a lot of comics—good ones, fairly bad ones, prize winners—and this is very good! Great story telling and character development, good pacing, great artwork… I really enjoyed this first volume and I will definitely keep going.

I love the Walking Dead comic series! Although I still enjoy Adlard’s art, I really loved Moore’s style in these first issues.

Yes, I noticed the change in artwork in the first pages of Volume 2 and did not like it as much. Bummer. Will Moore come back or is he gone for good?

Gone for good. (Kirkman and Moore ended up taking each other to court.) It is a real shame because Moore’s art was beautiful.

Yeah – it took me quite a while to get back into it after the art change because I found it hard to recognise the characters with Adlard’s style. Best of luck!
